Renowned Balochi Poet Mubarak Qazi Passes Away, Leaving Behind a Legacy of Words

 

 The Life and Poetry of Mubarak Qazi 

Pasni, Baluchistan - Today, the literary world mourns the loss of one of its most illustrious figures, Mubarak Qazi, the legendary Balochi poet. Born on December 24, 1956, in the picturesque coastal town of Pasni, Baluchistan, Mubarak Qazi, fondly known as Qazi, was a beacon of Balochi culture and a fervent advocate for the rights of his people. With a profound impact on Balochi poetry, his words resonated far beyond the borders of his homeland. 

Early Years and Education 

Mubarak Qazi's journey began in Pasni, where he received his early education at the local school. In 1976, he set off to Karachi in pursuit of higher education, enrolling at "Sindh Muslim College." However, his passion for poetry soon led him away from formal studies, causing him to return to Pasni and join his family's business.

 Undeterred by this temporary setback, Qazi's insatiable thirst for knowledge and poetry drew him back to Karachi. He completed his Intermediate studies through private exams while immersing himself in the vibrant Balochi literary scene, attending numerous deewans of renowned Baloch poets and authors.

 A Scholar Emerges: Pursuing Higher Education 

In the bustling city of Karachi, Qazi's love for poetry continued to grow. He eventually earned his B.A. degree from "Urdu Arts College" in 1983. His academic journey didn't end there; he went on to earn a master's degree in International Relations (I.R.) in 1986 from the esteemed "Baluchistan University Quetta."



 Dedication to Homeland 

A Director's Role

After completing his education, Qazi returned to his beloved Pasni. He dedicated several years of his life to the service of his hometown by taking on the role of Director at Fish Harbor Pasni. His commitment to his community was unwavering, reflecting his deep-rooted love for the land and its people.
